Complete Head Unit Installation Kit
Designed and engineered in Australia, the Aerpro FP9550GK Head Unit Install Kit allows for the installation of an aftermarket double din head unit into Holden VE Series 2 vehicles.
The gunmetal kit is compatible with Berlina, Calais and Commodore (Omega and Equipe) variants that have silver/grey trim around the factory display and climate control unit.
The kit retains important factory features including steering wheel controls, reverse camera, AUX input, USB input and microphone, and the integrated IPS display shows outside temperature, climate control and factory parking sensor visualisation.
It also features dual USB pass through ports as well as hand brake, reverse gear and speed pulse outputs. This kit includes: double din facia kit, gunmetal trim panel, built-in HVAC and SWC unit, universal SWC patch lead, USB retention lead, camera retention lead, antenna adaptor, mounting kit, support brackets and a manual.
To simplify the installation process we recommend using Aerpro APP8 or APP9 aftermarket head unit harnesses (sold separately).
- Install Kits can vary between vehicle models, please use the Aerpro What Fits Your Car Guide to find the correct parts.
- This kit is designed for Berlina, Calais and Commodore (Omega and Equipe) variants that have silver/grey trim around the factory display and climate control unit. For vehicles with black use FP9550BK.
- For steering wheel control retention the aftermarket head unit must be SWC compatible.
- For reverse camera retention the aftermarket head unit requires a reverse camera input.
- For USB retention the aftermarket head unit requires a rear USB input.
- For AUX retention the aftermarket head unit requires a rear RCA AUX input.
- For microphone retention the aftermarket head unit requires a 3.5mm external microphone input (models with 2.5mm connection will require an adaptor, not included).
- The dual USB ports are pass through only, the aftermarket head unit requires rear USB inputs for connection.
- Nav button on steering wheel controls does not function with this kit.
