The BlackVue B-130A External Dash Camera Battery Pack is designed to extend dash cam recording time during Parking Mode without draining the vehicle’s battery. It uses lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) technology for safe, long-lasting performance and is housed in a compact, metal-cased unit that fits neatly under a seat or in the boot.
The B-130A charges while the vehicle is running and automatically powers the dash cam when the engine is off. It can be connected via the cigarette lighter socket or hardwired for faster charging. When hardwired, the battery charges in approximately 40 minutes. Using the cigarette lighter socket takes around 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Once fully charged, the B-130A can power a single-channel dash cam for up to 39 hours or a dual-channel system for approximately 25 hours. Actual runtime may vary depending on the dash cam model and usage. The battery includes built-in protection against overcharging, overheating, and short circuits, ensuring safe operation over time.
