The BlackVue DR770X Plus MkII 2-Channel Infrared Dash Camera is a premium dual-channel system designed for professional drivers, rideshare operators, and fleet vehicles. It includes a front-facing camera and a rear-facing infrared camera, both capturing Full HD 1080p footage using Sony STARVIS sensors for excellent clarity in all lighting conditions. The infrared rear camera is optimised for interior cabin recording, making it ideal for monitoring passengers, especially in low-light or night-time environments.
The front camera records at 60 frames per second, delivering smooth and detailed footage of the road ahead. The infrared rear camera records at 30 frames per second and features infrared LEDs that activate automatically in dark conditions. This setup ensures clear visibility inside the vehicle, even in complete darkness.
The DR770X Plus MkII includes built-in GPS for location and speed tracking, and a microphone for audio recording. It supports native Parking Mode when hardwired, allowing the camera to monitor the vehicle while parked and record events triggered by motion or impact. Installation is straightforward with the included hardwiring cable and mounting accessories.
This model supports microSD cards up to 256GB, offering ample storage for high-resolution video. Loop recording ensures continuous coverage by overwriting the oldest files when storage is full. Impact and motion detection automatically tags important files for easy review.
The DR770X Plus MkII includes built-in Wi-Fi and it supports optional LTE connectivity via the BlackVue CM100GLTE module (sold separately). This enables cloud features such as remote live view, video backup, and push notifications. The system is compatible with BlackVue Cloud, allowing remote access and fleet management capabilities when connected.
The compact cylindrical design of both cameras allows discreet installation without obstructing the driver’s view. The infrared rear camera is specifically designed for interior use and is not suitable for exterior rear window mounting.
