More about the product

The BlackVue DR770X Plus MkII 2-Channel Truck Dash Camera is designed specifically for larger vehicles, offering reliable front and rear coverage with enhanced durability. Its rugged rear camera is built to withstand outdoor conditions, making it ideal for trucks, vans, and commercial fleets. The front camera records in Full HD 1080p at 60 frames per second, delivering smooth and clear footage even at high speeds. The rear camera also captures in Full HD 1080p at 30 frames per second, housed in a weather-resistant metal casing with an extended coaxial cable for flexible installation on long vehicles.
The DR770X Plus MkII features Sony STARVIS sensors in both cameras, ensuring excellent low-light performance and balanced image quality day or night. The built-in GPS allows location and speed tracking, while the Wi-Fi module enables easy access to footage via the BlackVue app. Cloud connectivity is supported through an external LTE module (sold separately), allowing remote live view, video backup, and alerts.
Installation is straightforward with the included hardwiring cable, enabling Parking Mode to monitor the vehicle while stationary. The dash cam automatically switches modes based on vehicle activity, using motion and impact detection to record relevant events, and the included 64GB microSD card ensures reliable storage.
The DR770X Plus MkII also includes voice alerts, event tagging, and file protection features to prevent overwriting important footage. Its sleek cylindrical design allows discreet mounting, and the rear camera’s robust build ensures long-term performance in harsh environments.
While the model offers strong features for commercial use, it does not include a built-in screen, relying instead on smartphone connectivity for setup and playback. Cloud features require additional hardware and data plans, which may be a consideration for budget-conscious users.

The DR770X Plus MkII suits truck drivers, fleet operators, and commercial vehicle owners needing durable dual-channel recording. Its weatherproof rear camera and extended cable make it ideal for larger vehicles. Compared to entry-level models, it offers better build quality and advanced features like GPS and Parking Mode. However, users seeking built-in screens or integrated LTE may prefer higher-end models. It’s a strong choice for those prioritising reliability and expandability in demanding environments.
