The BlackVue DR770X Box Pro Dash Camera is a premium multi-channel recording system designed for discreet installation and professional-grade performance. It features a compact box-style main unit that houses the core recording hardware, allowing the cameras to remain small and unobtrusive. The front camera records in Full HD 1080p using a Sony STARVIS sensor, delivering clear and detailed footage in both bright and low-light conditions.
The system supports up to three channels, including front, rear, and interior views. Only the front camera is included in the standard package. Additional cameras, such as the internal rear camera, are sold separately and must be purchased to enable full multi-channel recording. All cameras connect to the main unit via coaxial cables, ensuring stable video transmission and a clean, tamper-resistant setup. The main unit is typically installed out of sight, such as under a seat or in the glove box.
The DR770X Box Pro includes built-in GPS for speed and location tracking, along with a microphone and speaker for audio recording and voice alerts. It supports BlackVue Cloud, allowing remote live view, GPS tracking, and video backup via smartphone or PC. The system also features built-in voltage monitoring for safe hardwiring, enabling Parking Mode recording when the vehicle is off. It is compatible with BlackVue’s Parking Mode accessories, including the Power Magic Pro and B-130X battery pack.
Recording is continuous in loop mode, with impact or motion-triggered events saved separately to prevent overwriting. The system supports microSD cards and includes BlackVue Viewer software for playback and settings adjustment. Installation requires routing cables from each camera to the main unit, which may take longer than single-camera setups but offers a cleaner look and better security.
