The BlackVue DR970X Plus MkII 2-Channel Dash Camera is a premium dual-camera system designed to deliver clear and reliable video coverage for both the front and rear of a vehicle. The front camera records in 4K Ultra HD using an 8.4-megapixel CMOS sensor, while the rear camera captures Full HD footage with a 2.1-megapixel Sony STARVIS sensor. Both cameras offer wide viewing angles, with 155 degrees at the front and 139 degrees at the rear, helping to cover more of the road.
The system includes built-in GPS for speed and location tracking, along with dual-band Wi-Fi for fast file transfers and remote access. It supports BlackVue Cloud, allowing live view, video backup, and alerts through the app. The camera body is compact and cylindrical, designed for discreet installation on the windscreen and rear window using the included mounts.
Recording is continuous while driving, with impact and motion detection triggering event files. The DR970X Plus MkII also supports parking mode when paired with a compatible hardwiring kit or battery pack, enabling surveillance while the vehicle is parked. Voice alerts and a proximity sensor allow quick access to key functions without needing a screen.
